Our client has been in business for over 20 years and is one of the leading recyclers in the Northeast. They are family owned and operated, and offer a tight-knit work environment on their team. They are looking to bring on an outside sales representative to support their growing business throughout New England.
Job Description:
- The Outside Sales Representative will be targeting industrial clients in the manufacturing, municipality, construction and salvage markets to buy excess material and scrap metal for recycling.
- The Outside Sales Representative will identify and target potential customers through referrals, networking and cold-calling/knocking, as well as following up with inbound leads.
- The Outside Sales Representative will be tasked with finding suppliers, negotiating pricing and purchasing agreements, and coordinating delivery schedules, inspections and overseeing any quality / environmental concerns.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of outside field sales experience, with a preference for candidates who have sold within construction or industrial manufacturing markets.
- Ability to engage with potential customers and customize your sales approach to win their confidence and their business.
- Upbeat, positive and outgoing personality with the ability to work independently
Location: This is an outside sales role where ideal candidates will be based within a 2-hour radius of Boston, MA and comfortable meeting with clients in person and being on-site at a recycling facility on the South Shore 1-2x/week.

Total Comp: $100,000 - $130,000 year one; $150,000+ year two
