Our client is a leading New England based niche consultancy specializing in software engineering and data/AI practices. They have been in business for over 20 years and have continued to modify their offerings to stay ahead of the market. They are looking to hire their founding sales team for their Data/AI side of the business and looking for established business development professionals as they grow.
Job Description:
- Focus on New Sales and Growth: Achieve individual sales quotas by acquiring new client accounts through leveraging their network, referrals, inbound leads and industry events, while building a book of business and expanding the accounts.
- Establish a Scalable Sales Process: Work alongside the leadership team to create repeatable sales framework, collaborate with solutions teams, and maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline creation.
- Lead and Mentor a Sales Team: The goal of this role is to transition into a leadership role within the next year. This hire will be instrumental in shaping the overall go-to-market strategy for the business unit.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of proven sales experience, with a network of relationships in the professional services, data analytics/BI space
- Experience with a $2-4 million professional services quota.
- Previous management / leadership experience as a player-coach
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of a territory, identify opportunities, and adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape.
Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where candidates will be expected to report to an office in the Greater Boston, MA area bi-monthly while also meeting with clients in the New England region as needed
