Our client is a technology solutions provider looking for a Director of Regional Sales based in North Carolina to lead a field-based team selling managed services, focusing on AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of management experience and 10 years in the commercial technology sector, with a proven track record of selling into diverse commercial accounts. This is a new, rapidly evolving role within a company experiencing significant growth and expansion into new sectors.

Job Description:

• The Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for managing a small team of sales executives focused on bringing in new clients to achieve monthly sales quotas  
• The Regional Director of Sales needs to be able to lead by example, coach throughout the entire sales cycle from initial contact through delivery and accurately forecast. 
• The Regional Director of Sales must be comfortable working on sales strategy, hiring and mentoring new team members, and expanding relationships within key accounts. 

• 10 years of sales experience, ideally within IT services, managed services or professional services
• 5+ years of sales management experience
• Growth minded, strategic, and confident 

Location: This is a remote, field-based sales position. Candidates must live in the Greater Raleigh or Charlotte, NC areas, while also supporting their field sales team on sales calls and client meetings throughout VA, NC and SC as needed.
