Our client is on a search for a Business Development Executive focused on selling and building relationships within Private Equity Groups and Investment Banking Firms. They specialize in the equipment leasing market and offer a range of financial solutions to their clients, including operating leases and equipment finance agreements for companies unable to secure traditional financing. Location: This is a hybrid work environment where candidates must be based in either Boston, MA or New York City, NY. Candidates must willing to travel on a regular basis to meet clients at various on-site and networking events, including sporting events, breakfast/dinners, etc.

Total Comp: $150,000 - $250,000

Job Description
- The VP of Business Development must be comfortable with prospecting, qualifying inbound leads and cold leads and driving additional outbound efforts through networking, referrals, and industry events and running the full sales process.
- The VP of Business Development will be focused on developing relationships and closing business with Managing Partners and Financial Decision makers at Private Equity and Investment Banking Firms.
- The VP of Business Development will need to leverage and partner with various practice leaders and subject matter experts to build a win strategy for each account as they build their book of business.
Requirements:
- 2-10 years of demonstrated business development success targeting the Private Equity or Investment Banking community.
- Ideal candidates will have previous financing, leasing or credit experience
- Bachelors Degree required; MBA preferred
