Company Profile:
Our client is one of the leading custom food manufacturers in the United States. They cater heavily to companies producing frozen and prepared foods, offering customized solutions to meet specific needs. They are looking for a dedicated Account Manager in the Tri-State area to work with key accounts and expand relationships.
Job Description:
- The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a $20m+ book of business while also meeting GP targets
- The Account Manager will be working with food processors, restaurant chains and private-label brands to create custom products.
- The Account Manager must be comfortable working with R&D teams, conducting presentations and responding to RFPs to win bids on new products
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience selling food manufacturing services, ingredient or similar industry experience
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and retaining customers.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US & able to pass a background check, driving check, and drug screen.
Location: This is an outside sales role covering the Tri-State Area where you will be driving to customers 4 days a week. Expected travel is 60-75% within the region + attending industry tradeshows and events
