Our client is a start-up that leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to revolutionize media planning for businesses. Their AI platform analyze data and suggests the most effective media channels and strategies, allowing buyers to target the right audiences and improve campaign performance. They are expanding within the US market and looking for their first National Sales Director.
Job Description:
The National Sales Director will be tasked with the following key objectives:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying potential clients within the advertising technology sector, understanding their needs, and building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Sales Cycle Management: Managing the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals. This includes crafting compelling proposals, conducting product demonstrations, addressing customer objections, and negotiating contracts.
- Customer Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations. This involves understanding their business goals, providing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Research: Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven business development and sales experience focused on selling solutions within the media or advertising industry is required.
- A deep understanding of the media software sector, particularly advertising and programming schedules
- Desire to join a start-up organization and assist in building GTM strategy, identify new business opportunities and find early adopters and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets is crucial
Location: This is a remote role where candidates can be located anywhere in the US, with a strong preference for candidates based in Chicago or New York City.
