Location: This is a remote sales position where ideal candidates must be based in Kent, OH Travel 30-50% to conduct onsite inspections, and meet potential buyers within the assigned territory.

They have laid a strong foundation and are now ready to scale and expand their team. They are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their Indianapolis, IN based sales team.
Job Description:
- The Sales Engineer will establish scale and profitability by helping professionalize the company’s go-to-market strategy, and close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.
- The Sales Engineer will conduct on-site inspections to assess current conditions, examine construction contract papers, and collaborate with the general contractor/owner to collect necessary details for creating cost estimates, proposals, and designing the fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm system for the project.
- The Sales Engineer will develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure company is meeting customers expectations.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of technical sales experience within the fire protection and life safety services space.
- Proven track record in technical sales, with a deep understanding of fire protection systems and related technologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to assess client needs, propose solutions, and effectively close sales.
