Our client specializes in providing project-based and staff augmentation solutions for organizations in need of digital transformation solutions. They focus on providing support services within technology consulting, business intelligence sales, AI, machine learning, big data and other areas. They have recently expanded into the United States and have started growing their team. They are now looking for an experienced leader to bring on as their Head of Business Development to manage and lead their founding US-based sales team.
Job Description:
- The Head of Business Development is a player-coach opportunity, responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals in addition to managing and closing business on their own
- The Head of Business Development will be leading and managing a team primarily focused on net new logos, and must be comfortable tracking KPIs as well as coaching and assisting on closing deals.
- The Head of Business Development will report to the CEO and will be tasked with achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and reporting to leadership on progress within the US market.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of experience selling project-based development solutions, off-shore development, digital transformation services or staff augmentation services.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team with individual quotas ranging between closing $1-3m+ in new revenue on an annual basis
- Ability and desire to work in a start-up organization; you must be a strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to be proactive and resourceful as you build market share in the US.
Location: This is a remote opportunity where candidates must be located and authorized to work in the United States; limited travel to key accounts as needed
