Lead and scale the North American sales organization for a leading international IT and customer service management software company. This role offers a clear path to VP of North America for a driven and successful candidate. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales leader with experience building high-performing teams, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the enterprise IT software market.
Job Description:
- The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing a small team of sales executives with a focus on scaling and hiring 3-4 additional sales team members.
- The Director of Sales will manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, quota planning, and opportunity management to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- The Director of Sales will need to build and establish a robust partner network of mid-sized solution partners capable of selling and implementing the company's software solutions. This will involve identifying, onboarding, and managing partner relationships.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of sales experience, ideally within IT services, managed services or enterprise IT software.
- 2+ years of sales management experience. Ideal candidates will have worked for an international company.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing channel partnerships, particularly with solution partners focused on software implementation.
Location: This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be comfortable being in the Boston, MA office 2-3x/week, with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week, while also supporting the sales team on client meetings as needed.
