Company Profile

Our client specializes in manufacturing solutions, custom automation, switches and power distribution equipment within the Industrial Automation space.  They are a stable, family run business that has experienced double-digit growth over the last 3 years. They are looking for a technical sales professional to focus to join their organization. 

Job Description

• The Sales Engineer / Product Specialist will be focused on both sales and support for Visualization, Motion and Software products and solutions.
• The Sales Engineer must support sales initiatives for their designated product lines, as well as communicate technical aspects effectively with product, engineering and production teams to help drive all sales activities.  
• The Sales Engineer will be required to present to clients, demonstrate products, and evaluate existing equipment and projects to recommend solutions for future projects. 

Requirements:

• 4+ years in a technical sales, sales engineering, automation or similar role, with experience in client-facing situations 
• Previous experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions to support the design/build process. 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred, but not required 

Location: This is a hybrid work environment where employees will be in office and in the field with clients in the Greater Hartford, CT Area.
