The Sales Manager owns the market and account planning and must be able to turn ambiguous requests into competitive solutions for customers.
Job Description:
- The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the sales approach for every stage of a project, across value players (engineer, procurement, contractor, distributor).
- The Sales Manager will lead sales activities, drive qualified leads and successfully close qualified opportunities.
- The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and exceptional customer service, has thorough understanding of commercial/industrial electrical industry (transformers, switchgears, solar etc).
Requirements:
- 5-15 years of experience selling switchgear or similar electrical equipment into the commercial construction industry, ideally with medium voltage focused manufacturer’s rep (e.g. S&C, G&W, or equivalent)
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic, team-oriented approach, ability to multi-task and handle several projects at once.
- Previous inside sales experience is preferred but not required.
