Our client is an established leader, developer, manufacturer and distributor of Lab Diagnostics and Scientific Instrumentation Equipment.  They provide both academic institutions and pharmaceutical / life sciences organizations across the world with the analytical instrumentation, technical resources and lab equipment needed to help with medical breakthroughs for new drug discovery. They are expanding their software engineering and testing team to add a technical resource with strong programming and automation skills to the Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) team. 

Job Description:

• The Software Test Engineer will be focused in functional, performance and system installation tests for both manual and automated software environments 
• The Software Test Engineer will focus on robotic device control for LC-MS equipment and testing environments  
• The Software Test Engineer must be comfortable working with robotic autosamplers and understand how to program, design and operate this technology 

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent scientific area required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5+ Years of complex software testing and robotic automation experience.
• Previous experience working with Mass Spectrometry and Liquid Chromatography (LC-MS).

Location:  This role will be reportnig on-site daily to a lab in the Greater Boston, MA area with limited travel anticipated.  All applicants must be vaccinated and able to travel internationally if needed.

Base Comp: $100,000 - $135,000
Total Comp: $110,000 - $145,000
